Description: The Indianapolis Alumnae Chapter was reconstructed as a graduate chapter in January 1978. It was originally chartered as Chi Chapter in Indianapolis, Indiana at a ceremony held on March 14, 1925. Although the chapter became a total alumnae chapter in January 1978, it was instrumental in establishing the following collegiate chapters: Gamma Nu, Indiana University; Delta Phi, Ball State University; Zeta Theta, Purdue University; Zeta Nu, Indiana State University, and reactivation of the Chi chapter as a city-wide undergraduate chapter in Indianapolis, 1985.
