Description: DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 23/40 AND 223 ACKLEY IMPROVED... My Stolle Panda is a 23/40 and it is slightly different than a 223 Ackley improved. Both have a 40° shoulder, but the shoulder location is different. I don't recommend getting a 23/40 because it is much more difficult to make the brass compared to the 223 AI.
