Title:     Viscount Goderich

Description:     Born in London as Frederick Robinson. Elected to the House of Commons. Later as President of the Board of Trade he introduced the new Corn Laws and supported the Six Acts. Granted a peerage by prime minister, George Canning, he served as prime minister from 1827-28. In 1833 he was granted a new title, the Earl of Ripon. (1782-1847)
