Title: European North Atlantic Margin (ENAM).
Description: The overall objective of the ENAM II project is to quantify and model large-scale sedimentary processes and material fluxes in the north Atlantic and to assess their relation to the variability of oceanic and cryospheric processes. The timing, causes and flow behaviour of mass wasting events and the relationship between mass wasting events and deep-sea fan developments are to be determined in order to understand the spatial and temporal variability of marine systems from the shelf edge to the continental slope and the deep sea.
