Title: The SLAB model
Description: This software models the dispersion of dense gas releases from an evaporating pool, a horizontal jet, a vertical jet, or an instantaneous volume source. The dispersion is calculated from the conservation equations of mass, momentum, energy, and species. The conservation equations are spatially averaged to treat the cloud as either a continuous plume, a transient puff, or a combination of the two depending on the release duration. SLAB was developed by the USA's Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.
