established in Kyoto in 1921 by Oka Sotan Roshi as a place for religious study with a minimum of

Two temples, Tokoji (Zendo, Hondo) and Jotokuji (Hondo), and a guest house are open to visitors
from Japan and from all over the world. The temple is under the direction of Muishitsu Rotaishi
(Hozumi Gensho Roshi). The Kokusai Zendo Kyoto is part of the Myoshinji, one of the main lineages
of Rinzai Zen in Japan. The Zendo offers everbody, no matter of which age, gender, nation, religion
